Practice Facility

Rock Manor’s completely revamped practice area now features a 20,000 square-foot, natural- grass, lighted driving range; a putting green; chipping area and bunkers. The practice facility is currently open during the same hours as the golf course.  The range will be fully lighted this summer.  See rates below. 

Golf Instruction

Rock Manor is proud to provide an expansive golf- instruction program – led by Clark Gregory, Rock Manor’s Director of Instruction.  This expansion includes a partnership with The First Tee of Delaware for youth.

Clark Gregory was with the Nike Golf Learning Center in Reston, Virginia. In his six years with the Nike Golf Learning Center, Clark was involved in helping to make Reston Nationals’ Nike Golf Learning Center one of the best and most profitable in the country.  He assisted in the growth of the Junior Summer Golf Program to an average of over 300 participants each year.

Our Tee It Up Lesson Series is an adult program consisting of 8 students per class and this is where Clark will teach the fundamentals of the golf swing, rules of golf and golf etiquette. Clark is also involved in teaching our advanced classes as well as private lessons.

Clark enjoys introducing the game and the rules to as many potential new golfers as possible and to improve the knowledge and skills of existing players.  His main goal as an instructor is to teach everyone the fundamentals of the game and most importantly to have fun.
